Who it suits
Owners who want one insulated bottle for themselves and their dog, for hot days, park visits, car trips and dogs that prefer a normal bowl.
Key facts
- 24 oz bottle of 18/8 stainless steel; the BPA-free food grade silicone boot holds 8 oz as a bowl (Springland Pets)
- Detach the boot and pour water for your dog, so you do not carry a separate bowl (Springland Pets)
- Insulated to keep drinks chilled (Springland Pets)
- Top rack dishwasher safe; unscrew the top and remove the boot to clean (Springland Pets)
- 1-year warranty against defects in materials or workmanship (Springland Pets)
What reviewers say
Treeline Review: Sara Kruglinski tested it over more than two months with eight dogs from 20 to 95 pounds (published June 2026, updated August 2026) and named it Best Insulated. It scored 10 out of 10 on her leakproof scale, fit a car cupholder, and its D-ring took a carabiner for a leash or pack. The familiar bowl suits nervous drinkers. Downsides: it weighs 1.1 pounds, the bowl can get dislodged or misplaced, and the bowl may be too small for dogs over 65 pounds. The page does not say whether units were maker samples.
We did not test it ourselves.
Pros
- Best Insulated pick and top leakproof score in Treeline Review’s test
- Separate bowl, so your own water stays clean
- Bowl looks like a normal dog bowl for cautious drinkers
Cons
- Heavier than plastic bottles (1.1 pounds, per Treeline Review)
- Bowl can be misplaced and may be small for dogs over 65 pounds
Good to know
- On hot days, offer small amounts of water every 15 to 20 minutes, and not while your dog is panting heavily (RSPCA).
- Bottles whose bowls drain back in also take up your dog’s backwash, so a separate bowl is the better choice if you share the water (Whole Dog Journal).
