What reviewers say

Whole Dog Journal: Whole Dog Journal bought and tested three automatic launchers with its own dogs and ranked the iFetch Too runner-up. Its quick, quiet launch almost startled the testers, and it was the only one with a rechargeable battery. Its launch wheels only move as a ball drops through, which seemed less risky to a curious nose or paw, but a dog or person standing in front can be hit by the ball.

We did not test it ourselves.

Pros

• Quick, quiet launch, per Whole Dog Journal
• Rechargeable battery
• Takes standard tennis balls

Cons

• No sensor for a pet too close, per Canine Journal; anyone in front can be hit by a ball
• Dog must learn to drop the ball in the top
