Necoichi Cozy Cat Scratcher Bowl, Dark Cherry

The Necoichi Cozy Cat Scratcher Bowl is a shallow, round scratcher made of corrugated cardboard. It is shaped like a bowl so a cat can scratch on it and then curl up in it.

Who it suits

Cats that like to scratch flat surfaces such as rugs and carpet, kittens, and senior cats that prefer a low, soft scratching surface. It is a horizontal scratcher, so cats that stretch up to scratch the sofa arm will also need a tall vertical post.

Key facts

• Corrugated cardboard scratcher that doubles as a bed (Necoichi)
• About 15.7 x 15.7 x 4.7 in (Petzone)
• Reversible, replaceable top pad (Hauspanther)
• Replacement pads sold in a 2-pack (That Pet Place)
• Paper and cardboard construction, recyclable (Floppycats)

What reviewers say

Hauspanther said the bowl makes a cardboard nest that cradles a cat while it scratches, and liked the size, the faux wood look and the replaceable pad. Floppycats reported that their large Ragdoll sleeps and scratches in it often, and noted that flipping the pad takes a little wiggling.
