Who it suits

Everyday walks and hikes with dogs that pull lightly or not at all, and owners who want a quick two-buckle harness that leaves the shoulders free. Barrel-chested or oddly shaped dogs may need a more adjustable harness.

Key facts

  • Leash point on the back, a second point under the chest for a tracking line, and a front point from size 3 up (Non-stop dogwear)
  • Y-shaped neck for free shoulder movement; adjustable around the chest, not at the neck (Non-stop dogwear)
  • Closed cell foam padding, Hypalon reinforcement, Duraflex buckles and 3M reflective details (Non-stop dogwear)
  • The maker says it suits hiking and tracking, and running, biking or skiing with dogs that keep a loose leash (Non-stop dogwear)
  • Sizes 1 to 8 in most colors and 0 to 9 in black (Non-stop dogwear)

What reviewers say

Treeline Review: Jae Thomas, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), in Treeline Review’s best dog harnesses guide (updated October 1, 2026), used it with her own dogs for about a year and named it the best overall harness. She found the neck cut left the shoulders free, the straps stayed out of the armpits, and the two clips made it fast to put on. She had to size up one size for her longer, deep-chested dogs, saw some gaping at the chest on her barrel-chested dog, and notes the neck cannot be adjusted. The page does not say whether the unit was a maker sample.

We did not test it ourselves.

Pros

  • Leaves the shoulders free to move
  • Quick two-buckle on and off
  • Wide size range

Cons

  • No neck adjustment
  • May need to size up on long or deep-chested dogs, per Treeline Review
  • Not made for dogs that pull hard

Good to know

  • Measure your dog before you order; Treeline Review’s tester found the maker’s size tool could suggest one size too small (https://www.treelinereview.com/gearreviews/best-dog-harnesses).
  • Check fit with two fingers under the straps, and make sure the straps do not press behind the front legs (AKC, https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/lifestyle/the-importance-of-a-well-fitting-harness/).
  • If your dog limps or the straps rub the skin raw, stop using it and ask your vet.
