Pawler Pooper Scooper Rake and Extra Large Tray Set

A two-piece rake and tray set with long handles, for picking up several piles around a yard before you empty the tray.

Who it suits

Owners who clear a whole yard, often for a large dog or several dogs, and want to scoop standing up without a trip to the trash after every pile.

• Tray measures 9.5 x 9 in (Pawler)
• Pawler says it works on grass, gravel, dirt and garden beds (Pawler)
• Rust-proof metal and aluminum; rinses clean (Pawler)
• Push-pin assembly with no tools; handle holes for hanging (Pawler)

What reviewers say

Spots.com: Spots.com says it tested 14 pooper scoopers in the yard with its own dogs (filmed in 2022, picks rechecked in October 2026) and named the Pawler its best overall pick. Host Tara Lynn compared it to a broom and dustpan: you can walk around and pick up several piles before going to the trash, and the long handles mean no bending. Spots.com notes it is a two-piece set, so you need both hands.

We did not test it ourselves.

Pros

• Large tray holds several piles, per Spots.com
• Long handles, so no bending
• Metal and aluminum; rinses clean

Cons

• Two pieces, so you need both hands
• Spots.com has not re-tested it since 2022

Good to know

• Rinse the rake and tray after use and wash your hands after handling dog poop, as the CDC advises (https://www.cdc.gov/healthy-pets/about/dogs.html).
• Pawler also sells a standard-tray set and a set with a spade; Spots.com did not test those.
