What reviewers say
Treeline Review: Jae Thomas, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), in Treeline Review’s best dog harnesses guide (updated October 1, 2026), bought the Web Master as her dog’s first harness in 2021, used it for years and also tried the current version. She named it the best harness for large dogs: sturdy, well padded, secure for escape-prone dogs thanks to two belly straps, and easy to put on with the new neck clip. She found the newer version runs slightly bigger, that it covers too much of a small dog, can flatten long coats, and that a harness with a full chest and belly panel is more comfortable for lifting.
We did not test it ourselves.
Pros
- Two belly straps help stop escapes
- Sturdy handle
- Goes on without passing over the head
Cons
- Bulky on small dogs
- Can flatten long coats
- Current version runs slightly big, per Treeline Review
Good to know
- Check fit with two fingers under the straps, and keep the girth strap off the soft belly behind the ribs (AKC, https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/lifestyle/the-importance-of-a-well-fitting-harness/).
- Measure your dog before you order, since the current version runs slightly large in Treeline Review’s test.
- If your dog has a back or neck problem, ask your vet which harness style suits them.
