Disposable wipes shaped like a mitt: you slip one on, stroke your dog to wipe the coat, then throw it away, with no water or rinsing.
Who it suits
Dogs that need a quick freshen up between baths, such as after a walk on a muddy day, and owners who want a wipe that covers the whole hand. Not a replacement for a full bath or for brushing out a thick coat.
Key facts
- Sold as 20 glove wipes in one bag, about 9 ounces, for a dry bath of the coat (Uproot Clean)
- The wipe formula lists water, glycerin, a mild glucoside cleanser, shea butter and jojoba seed oil among its ingredients (Uproot Clean)
- Made to be used like petting, so you can reach under the legs and around the tail (Uproot Clean)
What reviewers say
Whole Dog Journal: Dog trainer Jae Thomas, CPDT-KA, used it on her dogs for a guide published on 8 December 2025 and named it the pick for a disposable glove. She found the glove wipes sturdier than ordinary dog wipes and less likely to tear, liked that they keep your hand clean when wiping muddy paws or a dirty rear end, and said they are big enough for most hands. She noticed no residue on the coat. The review does not say whether the gloves were bought or sent by the maker.
We did not test it ourselves.
Pros
- No water or rinsing needed
- Covers your whole hand, so it is less messy than a flat wipe
- Large enough for most hands, per Whole Dog Journal
Cons
- Single use, so you keep buying more and create waste
- Freshens the coat but does not replace a bath or brushing
Good to know
- Keep the wipe away from your dog’s eyes, and stop if the skin looks red or sore; ask your vet about any rash, itching or hair loss.
- Read the ingredient list first if your dog has known skin sensitivities.
