Treeline Review: Jae Thomas, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer, used five dog sleeping bags with her short coated Border Collie mix and her Rough Collie on car camping and backpacking trips, and ran warmth, water spray, zipper and abrasion tests (published 28 September 2026). The Wilderdog was her car camping pick. Its shell was the toughest in the test and still looked new after digging and abrasion, and its thick zipper was the sturdiest. It was not the warmest bag but she still found it fine for three seasons. It is bulky even packed and comes in one size only. The review does not say how the bag was obtained.
