What reviewers say
PetsRadar: PetsRadar named it the best pet camera overall in its guide (updated June 2025); tester Barbara Ortiz found it easy to set up, with clear, lag-free video at 1080p and tracking that follows the pet, though the picture is not perfect. PetsRadar notes some features need the paid Furbo Nanny plan, and without it footage stays in the app for 24 hours unless downloaded.
Digital Camera World: Nick Lee reviewed it in January 2023 and found sharp images, crisp audio and an easy app, with a quiet treat tosser that throws a good distance, but noted the treat tosser is not quite perfect because of a labored motor and overzealous tracking, and that many extra features are subscription-locked.
Reviewed: Camryn Rabideau used it to watch her two Golden Retrievers over several weeks (October 2022) and found it simple to set up, with clear video even at night and good two-way audio, though the picture suffers at full zoom.
We did not test it ourselves.
Pros
- Rotates to follow your dog around the room
- Clear video and audio, per three hands-on reviews
- Treat tosser built in
Cons
- Many alerts and longer video history need the paid Furbo Nanny plan
- Rotation motor can be distracting in a quiet room, per Digital Camera World
Good to know
- Place it where your dog cannot chew or knock it over; Furbo supplies 3M tape for the base (https://furbo.com/us/products/furbo-360-dog-camera).
- A camera shows you how your dog copes alone but does not treat separation anxiety; if you see distress, talk to your vet (https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/dogs/behaviour/separationrelatedbehaviour).
